In March 2015, the King of Prussia District (KOP-BID) launched dineKOP; KOP-BID’s unique interpretation of a restaurant week with 20 participating King of Prussia restaurants.

On May 9, 2015, on behalf of all dineKOP restaurant week participants, KOP-BID presented The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) with a check for $10,500 for their new King of Prussia Specialty Care Center (550 S. Goddard Blvd.).

“It was important to KOP-BID and our KOP restaurants that dineKOP be more than just a restaurant week. We all wanted this annual event to be one that supported the incredible community in King of Prussia,” said Eric Goldstein, King ofPrussia District Executive Director. “We are thrilled to be partnered with CHOP and support their new Specialty Care Center in King of Prussia.”

dineKOP restaurant week will return in March 2016, with proceeds benefiting CHOP’s King of Prussia Specialty Care Center once again.

“We’re extremely grateful for the gift and how the King of Prussia business community has embraced our new Center,” said Amy Lambert, Senior Vice President of the CHOP Care Network. “Our larger facility and expanded services will enable us to serve even more local families, as will this generous gift.”

Participating dineKOP restaurants included: Bahama Breeze; California Pizza Kitchen; Cantina Laredo; Creed’s Seafood and Steaks; Maggiano’s Little Italy; The Melting Pot; Morton’s The Steakhouse; Pepper’s Italian Restaurant; Ralph’s of South Philly; Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery; Ruth’s Chris Steak House; Seasons 52; Sullivan’s Steakhouse; The Capital Grille; The Pub by Wegmans; The Zodiac at Neiman Marcus; Tilted Kilt; and the Valley Forge Casino Resort (Pacific Prime, The Valley Tavern and Viviano).
